i know i probably ask too many questions but im getting a rancho 4 in lift for my chevy but the rims(17x9 w/ 33 inch gdyr mtr) i want have 4.75 b/s and rancho calls for a 4.5 b/s. would that still work or will it rub?

and also what is a better lift kit for a 88 ranger?

I doubt that a quarter of an inch will make much difference. Worse case senareo you could add quarte inch spacers.

now my dad wants to be absolutly sure it will work meaning i have to wait for him to order the lift. he thinks the extra .25 b/s will ruin something -.-

id say your safe. iam running 3.25 back spacing an stock the truck had i think 5inch backspacing.
