i have a ranger 3.0 auto that i got the other day and the guy said it needs a shift solenoid he sad it shifted hard when it is freezing out and the od light flashed in the dash. i got the pan off and will change the fluid but it has 6 solenoids and i have no idea on which one i need to replace. i think it is a 5r44e but not positive. can anyone help me out. i have pictures of things if you need to see the insides. but i would like to get it on the road soon and have to get parts and don't need to just get them all if they are not really needed. the transmission is a reman unit the numbers on it are 1l5z-7000-aarm if that helps.

on another note can anyone help with abs problems here? i checked the senors the ohmed out and when i spin the rotors and the rear one i took out and passed it by metal i get readings on the meter so i'm hoping they are good. what it does. it did just come on and stay on then i found the rear sensor was not plugged in so i did that and now it turns on goes out and then back on.i have not driven it yet as i'm repairing ball joints to. is that normal after it is plugged in and i may have to drive it to reset it? thanks
