i have a 98 ford ranger single cab wantin to swap 4cyl to 351w any help

I wanting to build this truck for the street\strip any ideas on what im going to be going through on this job and necessities that I will need other then the common sense stuff haha im also backing it with a t-5 manual trans so any help would be appreciated

Welcome! Make your self at home and get to learn all there is, start by checking out the tech library up top. Don't know of anyone who has done a late model with anything other than a 302/5.0. Headers are the usual problem even with the early trucks and the 351. Outside the frame would be the only way to go. Make that T-5 the strongest you can find.
