I got T-boned

Well.. yesterday when I was driving home from my dad's house I was t-boned by a drunk driver who was running a red light. I was in the hospital for a night and I got out a few hours ago. I had hit my head and blacked out so they wanted to keep me over night and check for brain damage etc etc. I didn't have the Mazda (thank God) because I was driving a friend's car.
It wasn't too bad, but I hope it never ever happens again! I gotta sit around and do nothing now, great. These bruises are not fun.

Glad to hear your O.K. Hopefully they got the drunk, threw him/her in a cell, and then threw away the cell. Drunk driving is just plain stupid. If you do have any aches or pains, be sure to get thoroughly checked out. One stupid act(someone else's) could make you hurt for the rest of your life

I've never been t-boned, rear-ended at a stop light, yes. Take it REAL easy because over 72 hours the aches and pains will get worse.

As for blacking out. You must have hit your head. Make sure you keep a close watch on it. TIB's (traumatic brain injuries) can be very, very, hard to spot sometimes. Especially if it is mild to moderate. Mine didn't show up until a couple of weeks later. CT scans and MRI's didn't show any damage. Then again they cannot show the neural paths that get scrambled.

I am glad to hear you are fine though. I as well hope the idiot that hit you gets the book thrown at him.

I HATE drunk drivers and I know a lot of people who have died at the hands of alcohol so I don't drink at all.

I am feeling much more lively today... I think there is nothing major wrong but probably gotta go back in for a check up.
