i got my new 08!!!!

i finally got my new 08 ranger, i'm so happy with it after 3 and a half months of waiting!. i love everything about it and i'm really glad i got the 4.0 with the 5spd manual. it has so much low end torque to it and it feels so peppy its unbelieveable. but then again alls i ever had were 4banger rangers before now. i'll tell you how it is later cuzz i reayy havn't taken it past 3k rpms. still breaking in shes barley got a 100 miles on her lol. im very excited right now and i thought id share. if i figure out how to post pics later i will

Congratulations! I got mine a few weeks ago and I'm nearing 800 miles already! It's a great truck, even though there are some small things Ford left out compared to my '97. I like the 4 door feature, my '97 was an extended cab, but they didn't offer 4 door back then.

5 speed manual were not available until later in the production. Is the only thing I wish my truck had different. Congrats on the new truck !

I save a few hundred a month in a car fund and right now it has nearly 18 grand... and my 2002 is paid for. But the '02 isn't worn out, so torn between buying new now or doing without later. I wish ford would build this truck for just two or three more years!!

Still thinking about ordering me one before they stop production. Anyone know when that is exactly?

i got a pretty good feeling that 09 is going to be the last but idk. i have herd rumors of them getting rid of the 4.0l and 3.0 and replacing it with the 3.5 dohc out of the edge and fusion i believe? better power and economy from my hearings.

The line is being shut down at the end of March according to the Ford dealer we bought our 08 from (ours is still 7 weeks away). I can't wait to have it in the driveway!
