I got me a pet!

I'm going to steal your idea I think and get a cat that lives in my b2........ litterbox in the back, little towel in the passenger seat, I get lonely when I'm driving.

Frank

I do too, but I just talk to myself.

Met my girlfriend, second time we hung out took her out wheelin' and slid down an icy trail into some trees... she was laughing the whole time, mostly at me for being an idjit. She's a keeper. :icon_thumby:

Mine flips out if I take the entry to Taco Bell too fast, it has a big dip and the truck bounces all over. I think last time she hit me. :annoyed:

I like a cat that A) can survive outside vs. the raccoons and coyotes and B) kills everything around the house and barns. Out of 8 that have been dropped off by relatives only two have made it through the gauntlet. The first I ran over accidently 7 years ago. The second is still alive though it was recently mauled by a coyote--I burst outside in time. The coyote must have gotten some pain from the 8# kitty because he hasn't been back. I have pictures of him stalking my chicken coop in the early morning.

The other six cats--one was a male and ran off. A second male was too lazy to hunt but when I obtained a female he would attack her. He didn't make it. The rest were females. One was accidently shot with an arrow by my neighbors wife while he was teaching her how to shoot a bow. I swear--the cat suck his head up out of the grass and THWAP she missed the friggen bale of hay by 5' and nailed the cat between the eyes. One of the cats that was dropped off ONLY harassed the neighbors indoor cat through the window so I shot it. The next one after that I was still raw from the last so I shot it in the kitty carrier as soon as the deliverer's taillights were around the corner.

A good mouser with survival instincts is worth gold. I'd pay $1,000 for a cat that could live in the barn, kill everything it could and never leave the yard, and be able to survive raccoons and coyotes. I can tell when my cat is being harrassed at night and I take care of it. I love wildlife but when they come into the cats' territory, they are no longer wildlife--they are looking for easy food and I make cadavers out of them. My cat and I have a beautiful relationship and it has never seen the inside of a house. I hate housecats and I hate cats that roam. I like good females that stay right around the yard and kill, kill, kill!

I took a cat to get spayed one time and the doctor came out and said "I saved you $5--it was a boy, not a girl."

congrats on the cat! Tabbies are usually fun, but its the Hines 57 that are the best =) they get VERY unique personalities XD. My tabby would play cars with me, LITERALLY! also, it would put up with me, haha.

Thanks all, I like it thus far. It was chasing birds around outside already, so a good sign!

Haha. Mine loved when I got my Land Cruiser 'cause it was more bumpy than my Ranger. :dunno:

That thing don't have enough hide to make a dick hat in Moscow, they are sweet just before they eat you though. :thefinger:

I'm allergic to cats as well.

Somehow I still wound up with two house cats. I wouldn't trade them for anything. Next pet may or may not be a dog, though. I haven't decided.

when the youngest cat was only a couple weeks old and could still fit in the palm of my hand a huge moth flew into the house one day. She jumped up almost six feet and grabbed it mid air and killed it on her landing. The thing was bigger than her head and she pranced around the house for at least half an hour carrying it in her mouth, just showing off her kill. We've never had a mouse since :D

LOL! I gotta love living on a farm...I have a total of 9 cats (5 are still tiny kittens) and expecting at least 4 more....Plus 2 big a$$ dogs (St. Bernard/Newfoundland mixes)

I don't know that our cat would survive the coyotes/coons but she's a helluva mouser. Only problem we have with her is that she decapitates the mouse and leaves the head on the steps that go into the laundry room.

Not that it's a bad thing but walking in there, in the dark, is always a crapshoot. Never know if you're going to step on something crunchy.

yeah, cats suck. women have cats, and if you're an unmarried woman, then you get lots of them.....i'd toss that thing outside and let it eat all the rodents around the house tho

that's a still a more interesting conversation than you would have with a cat
