How hard will it be to make it fit my bronco II?

same as an explorer axle, you have to re weld the axle perches other wise your springs will do this \ / ranger and BII axle aren't the same, and yours is an 86 Bii so no rabs so the rear vs s sensor doesn't matter, will just make a place for you to fill it with fluid.

some people have forced ranger axles into bII but its not recommended

i thought ranger axles and b2 axles were identical, they look the same between my ranger and my b2...

i just read the axles page, and the ranger axle is 3/8ths of an inch wider than my bronco axle, isn't that close enough?

Ranger axles are about 2 inches narrower at the leaf perches.

Yes, the frames and mounting points have not changed.

how can you be so sure its not a l/s?

I am pretty sure they did away with the LS option and replaced it with a traction control that is supposed to make up for it.

Yes they did. No more l/s option just traction control.
