You did well for 650 $ Good looking, well optioned truck. Are 4.0 s ohvs readily available used? Mine runs well, but if it gets sick, I will start searching for a 4.0 Ranger 4x4 in better shape The Rat isnt worth a 2nd reprieve from the crusher.

There are a few used 4.0 Rangers and Exploders around, most of them aren't much better off than my little beast. Stuff up here tends to be miled out and under-maintained. I think we're gonna pull the motor out of mine and rebuild it on the cheap.

Thats what I was doing with my 4.0, but then it sat around for a while and I recently decided to do a 5.8w swap.
