I got a really stupid question for ya:buttkick:, where is the drain plug on a 1354 T-case? I can see the fill plug about 1/2 way up below the rear drive shaft but i cant seem to find the drain plug.
Thanks for the help

There might be a damper near the bottom of the case. It's a round metal thing held in with 4 bolts. If you have one, you need to remove it and the drain plug will be right behind it.

Yup. :icon_thumby:

couple more questions,
1: Does that dampner need put back on???
2: Can I use Synthetic ATF in the 1354 T-case and M5ODR1 Tranny???
3: Synthetic Gear Lube for the 8.8 Limited slip??

1. If you don't notice any vibrations when driving, I suppose you can leave it off.
2. Absolutely yes, if you want to.
3. Absolutely yes, if you want to.

Might need to change mine, it might be the original 26 year old fluid in it. My dad has never changed it.
