I posted on here before that the oil pressure was low in my 2.0ltr but it always ran good so I decided to put a mech. oil pressure gauge on it to see how bad it really was and when I started it I was quite surprised to see it read 50 lbs cold @ idle and 50lbs @ cruise when warm . It doesn't go below 30 @ idle when warm.
so as I am watching this happen I was reminded that I was not the only person that had this problem with a low oil pressure reading. I was wondering if anyone else has put on a different gauge and found the factory one to be screwed.
What was your oil pressure @ idle and cruise when warm?

the stock "gage" is a glorified dummy lite, anything over like 5psi it shows normal, when I swapped my cab onto the donor 4x4 frame I stuck a manual gage on and get the same readings you do, except on REALLY cold days if I get a bit too happy with the go pedal it'll max out the gage :)
