ok so i am trying to rebuild my explorer 8.8 rear end and my dana 35 with some 4.56 and some detroit lockers. i found the lockers i want. but for some reason cant find the right gears or install kits for the gears. if anyone could help with some part numbers that would be awesome.

8.8
detroit locker - DTL-187C145A on summitracing.com
gears - FMS-M-4209-G456 on summitracing.com
install kit - G/G35-2013 on 4wheelparts.com

dana 35
detroit locker - DTL-162C56A on summitracing.com
gears - ?
install kit - ?

if you know of better parts or same parts for cheaper plz fill me in. and if there is anything i am missing to do these rebuilds any info would help. i am looking to do this in the next month before winter hits so i have someone to get around in the winter.

cheapest place I've found gears....got my front yukons and install kit and rear yukons and install kit for just a tick over 400. fast shipping, and you can get combos for lessor cost.

found the store.... prices are awesomeeeeeeeee. def ordering everything from trs. ty!

TTB or IFS? I have Yukon 4:56 gears with master install kits for sale. IFS D35 and 8.8...

IIRC, the IFS 35 is standard cut while the TTB 35 is reverse cut. I think that's the only difference.

Correct, the IFS is standard cut and the TTB is reverse. I failed to read that he had a 97 Ranger and assumed since he was building an explorer rear end he was building up an explorer.

I'm tired as shit.

hey does anyone know of a good stainless brake line for the rear that isnt skyjacker and that is good for a 6" lift?
