When I did a tranny/motor swap I noticed my truck idled kind of wierd and kind of rough. It started doing it shortly before the swap too but the motor leaked all kinds of oil then...hahaha. It seems to be idling good right now but I've turned the set screw up a bit. I honestly don't believe any intake gaskets are leaking as I've replaced every one of them in the last week! Don't get me wrong, it's running great but there's just something about the idle it seems.
I checked all vaccum lines and they are fine as well..........then I went to the I.A.C. and disconnected it and nothing happened! I've replaced it before once because it went bad years ago and I remember when it was working properly it made the engine almost die. Then I went inside and turned on the A/C and the engine rpm's stayed the same. They used to increase!
Have I found my problem? Thanks.
