Hypereutectic pistons turbo motor

how come all the turbo coupe rebuilding kits have Hypereutectic pistons only
and what boost can they handle

It's not so much the boost level as it is the charge air temps. On hyper pistons, my safe point is about 8 psi non intercooler, 12 psi intercooler. They may take more, but I personally wouldn't risk it...

so 8 psi would be ok hmmm that's all I need steal don t get why they don't sale forget pistons at auto parts thought the autoparts meet stock spacks
