Hurst Fitment Question

Hey all, I wanted to know if the Hurst 3915020 short shifter would fit a 2006 model year truck.

Every site I check that has the P/N lists the it fits 88-00, has anyone tried to see if it would fit newer models.

I am unaware of any differences in the transmission so I am a bit confused.

well it fits my 03 so i would guess yeah man! still the same transmission between the two but just be prepared man their noisy and make you drive the shit outta your truck! their so much fun and look so bad ass, plus man if you do buy it and install it don't install the boot for a couple weeks as you have to go back and tighten up all the bolts again after break in period and you also will have to readjust the shifter stops just a heads up for ya!

How long was the break in period for you? Exactly how hard of an install was it? And on a scale of 1 to 10 how loud did it become? Would insulation help?
