<--- This truck. It's stock right now minus 31's. Going for 6" full suspension lift kit, 3 inch body lift, and V8. I've got buddies who work at the boneyard. My plan for the engine is just to trailer home a parts truck with the complete engine trans, computer, etc. Likely will be an injected F150. Then I'll have to do something to make the driveshafts work (concern #1). Concern #2 is I'd like to keep the stock speedo/odo functional. I don't care about them being accurate. I have the exact mileage from when I went from stock tires to 31's so I can do the math to figure out exact mileage when needed. So I need to figure out if I can use my stock speedo cable on a different transfer case (i.e. 92-97 F150). I'm just guessing this generation F150 because I figured theres a lot of them out there for cheap that I can put side by side with mine to swap everything out (trying to avoid engine codes, I hate that damned light). If theres a much better donor truck out there, by all mean let me know. Concern #3- when I get the 6" lift in, I'm going to put my truck on the alignment rack at work to dial it in best I can. Is there a common (ballpark range) fixed degree camber bushing for a 6" lift that I could buy so I don't wreck my tires on my hour drive to work? Oh yeah, and number 4- anyone got $3k I can borrow
Just kiddin.
