hubs

so i think my auto hubs are going to heck on me i do have a set of stock manual hubs for it but the lil red switch on the outside of one is broken where would i get one of thouse and i do have all the little parts inside the hubs do i just switch the innerds an im good to go?

I'm not sure where you could get another knob for it other than taking one off of another hub.

would it be the same thoughout the years? mines an 84 would one frm persay a 86 fit?

Yes it would as they both have the same dana 28 front axle

so i think i can get some in the coming week. how good are the stock ones compared to say a warn or mile marker? i dont plan on getting to wild with it.

Warn manufactured the hubs for ford. The only difference was the label on the knob saying Warn if they were aftermarket, or 4x4 if they were factory.
