Hub question??

I have a 1991 Ranger XLT with broken Auto Locking hubs that I want to replace with manual ones. I have an oportunity to buy a whole nother ranger with good manual hubs for $100 the ranger that I have the oportunity to buy is a 1988, are the hubs interchangable and if or if not what parts are?

No, the hubs from a '88 are not interchangeable with a '91 (unless by some chance the '88 has the later D35 axle swapped into it).

D35 hubs are pretty rare in junkyards, but there's a chance you might get lucky. Otherwise you can get a set of hubs from here (don't forget the spindle nuts to convert it over):

also try hitting up AllanD, he usually has a set for sale, I think it was $90 with the spindle nuts... I lucked out and found a fresh sploder in the yard with manual hubs, $47 for the pair with nuts (I didnt even need tools to get those off, outer nuts were finger tight)

Not only do I have hubs, but Igot three more sets today.

And there was another set I left behind because I couldn't carry
them and I was too tired to walk back in for them, but they were
Mile-Markers anyway
