The inner nut on the front hub should have a small pin in it that fits in one of the holes in the spacer between the inner and outer nut. My pin is gone and I can't find a replacement nut with pin. Is this a problem or should I not worry about the pin?- WB

That pin prevents that inner but from being over torqued. I believe you should find where the original pin is and pound it back out, you may be able to salvage it. Or replace with an appropriate sized roll pin.
Good luck,
Richard

The whole kit isn't too bad to just replace it.

Spindle nut set

However, I've heard that the needle bearing from u-joints work wonderfully for replacing that pin. Haven't tried it myself.

Just did this. My pin was pushed in. I just tapped it out alil. Had to take the inner nut all the way off and clean it to find the pin.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure my pin is in the inner nut 'cause I saw it in there and thought it was sheared off. Gonna drive it out, put some red locktight on it and put it back CORRECTLY.- WB
