Anybody know the specific bolt needed knuckle to hub on a 2001 F150 4x4? Google AI says grade 10.9 M14x1.5 44mm long zinc or phosphate coated. That bolt does not seem to exist anywhere except online but I no longer trust things like that online due to the number of motorcraft and ac Delco spark plugs I’m sitting.
Ford don’t list the specs but sells them for $102 for a 4 pack. I would have to buy 8 bolts for the 6 I need which is more than the knuckles cost from Detroit axle for the pair.
Can’t reuse the ones I have because they are rusted in tight. Broke 2 sockets and almost broke my breaker bar with a 3 foot cheater pipe and they won’t budge.
Ford and google are pretty specific about not re using them anyways because of the high torque load.
