paypall is pretty straight forward.
you need to make a acount, you will need a debit, credit card or a checking acount that you can link.Myself I keep a checking acount just for paypal. That has very little money in it.Anouther good thing to do is use a credit card, that has some kind of fruad protection/insurance on it.
paypal will charge you 2.9% of the total, if your in the same state they will also hit you with state tax.
international transactions, atleast US to Can. is 3.9% vs the 2.9% plus a money exchange rate.
exhange rate gos on the person who is sending the money, and paypal's fees go on the person who is recving the money.
IF the transaction is over $200 I will get a tracking number as well as make the person sighn for it.
Also I always ask the person to fill out in the "notes" section of paypall, what they are buying, and the address they want it shipped to.
Also always check how the person payed, paypall, it will tell you if they payed for it wiht a check, if a person pays with a check, I will make them wait 2 weeks before I ship out.
if your buying something with paypal, and you dont get the product in 20 days after sending the money, start the paper work to get your money back from paypal. after 30 days your SOL. and it takes about a week to go threw.
I had this happen to me once, the person never sent the product, and IW as out 60 bucks, cause I went by thier word that is in the mail, on the 27th day....after the 31st day.I could never get ahold of the person.
