How to replace dimmer switch?

How do you replace a dimmer switch?

1988 Ranger 4X4 floor shift. Dimmer switch went out and I have no headlights. I used to be able to jiggle the handle and they would come back on, but no more. What is the procedure to remove and replace? Any URL's for this?

Floor dimmer switch

There should be just a bolt or screw or 2 holding to the floor, peel back the carpet and take a peek, Its a 5 minute fix once you have the new part.
