Well I have ran into a problem repairing my rear end....apparently the previous owner stripped the fill bolt....the bolt that you remove to fill the rear end with gear oil.....how do I remove the bolt after it has been stripped? or is there another way to fill the rear end with oil?

is that an allen bolt?

have you tried an ez-out yet?

It will be a 3/8" square drive and if it's stripped out, you can try an easy out/screw extractor

You can pick them up at parts stores and some hardware stores. You drill a hole, insert the easy out and just turn out the bolt/drain.

Thanks for your help....but you have to remember that the Democrats have controlled the congress for a few years now....President Bush did a good job with the crap the dems gave him!

i welded a nut to the drainplug on a truck one time. worked good, if you do drill use grease on the bit and go slow to catch the chips. Like you would do if you were tapping the oil pan for a supercharger return fitting.
