How to lift the front bumper


You're either going to need to buy bumper lift brackets or, if you have the tools and skill, fabricate your own. From the ones I've seen, they're just a stepped plate that bolts where the bumper used to, and then the bumper bolts to that. Should be able to find them online. Maybe if you give Performance Accessories a call, they can get a set of bumper lift brackets.
 
I remember reading on here that they're hard to find for early Rangers. might have to fab your own or visit a local welding/ fab shop.
 
Yup nobody makes 'em for 1st gens, build your own or make your own bumper like I did.
