Swapping engines on a '94 ranger 2.3L. In the process of switching accessories from old to new engine, the synchro from the new engine was taken out and I have no idea of its original position. Since this synchro didnt have the sensor on it, I am going to put the synchro and sensor from the old engine into the new engine.
From what I understand, for installation I need to start with the engine at TDC and I need a special tool... What are the basic steps and helpful hints from anyone who has done this before?
