how to hook up a PA system?

I want to install a CB radio and hook a speaker or PA system to it. How would i go about doing this and how does it work? I've never had anything like this before so all help is appreciated.

Ok, find a CB radio with a PA ouput, then get a speaker, then connect the radio to power and ground, and plug the speaker in.

It works by taking the vibrations of your voice as they enter the microphone, turning them into an electronic signal, sending them out to the speaker where they are turned back into sound waves and amplified.
