I have one. Paid a pretty steep price for it a few years ago. And sorry.. dont plan on letting it go anytime soon. If you do get lucky and find one plan on spending aleast two bills for it.
Honestly, I don't think it's that great of a book. It has a couple of tips, but most of its value is for the 2.8. Find a basic manual on rebuilding engines and use that instead.
I found a copy stashed away in New Zeland for $50 after searching for several months like 8 years ago. Surprised used is that much now, I think amazon had them cheap used a while back, if they're $115 now, the OP just missed out!
Sheesh, tempted to sell mine if I can get that much money out of it. LOL I think it was around $25 new?
What do you need to know from the book? Not sure if it's going to be a huge help, a lot of it is 2.8L based since that is the engine that they used for the book.
I would have to agree with what is being said here. The book is not like the holy grail of building an amazing engine or something like that. It was a good read but actually trying to rebuild an engine while using this as step by step how to is not gonna work. Im not really sure what was going through my mind when i bought it. I guess i just wanted it.
