ive been wondering for a while.probably going to try to find one after i get my other 3 or 4 projects done

They are not very rare.

mine started as a 2wheel drive its a 89, sister had a 88 2wd, not that uncommon

Up here in the northeast bronco 2's are rare let alone seeing one 2wd. Mostly people bought 4x4 models for winter and then they rusted away. 2wd suvs are usually southern oriented family wagons.

They are not uncommon at all just like the explorer 2wd.I had one.You could put 200 pounds in the back and go almost anywhere. In the snow anyway. That is one thing I would like to see this site get and that is actual production figures on all the models.Ford keeps excellent records on everything they build and yet it seems hard to get the actual numbers on production.I have called them twice and they seem unwilling to help in this area.It would be neat to know how many rangers had the manual transfer case each year or how many ranger GTs were built and the 2wd bronco 2 or whatever one would want to know. The only thing I have found so far is how many were built each year in percentage, according to engine/trans and 4x4 and also a/c,p/s.No actual numbers just percentage.Hopefully someone can get them to open the vault.

ive only seen one 2wd bII personally, was junk yard shopn for rbv manual tranny...trans and tcase was pulled and laying on ground underneath the bII and i noticed the t case looked a lil funny(no front output)...the good thing is you can still use the trannys for a 4x4 because they used a dummy transfer case.

I have seen them, and they are junk just like the 4x4 models. I love my Ranger(s), but why Ford made these things I will never figure out.

my buddy had one for a few years til he sold it a year ago to buy a ranger. it was purple with red interior, ugliest damn thing. sure did run good though :)

You might get yourself beat with a comment like that...

I've never seen a 2wd bII. hell any bII is fairly rare. Also I've never seen another stepside with my sport package either..............

Yeah no kidding. Seeing how they share a platform and running gear.

Oh no he didn't.......................

I think the BII is kinda ugly but I don't car for SUVs anyway. I would jump at a bII in a heartbeat though

Edit:I dont car for suvs makes 0 sense so substitute truck...erm I mean care
