all i want for my explorer is a minor 2.5-4 inch lift, pretty much i want it to handle better and be just a little bit taller, it already has some fairly agressive tires on it, i just want it taller for better ground clearance and keep the tires that it has, what would be a good lift system for this? the rear leaves are worn out so they need to be replaced, unsure if i want to put the axle under the springs, dont want it too high because i want to keep the tires i got on it and not suffer the fuel milage decrease of bigger tires.

what should i go with?

If you do a SOA in the rear it would tbe the cheapest, it will give you about 4" in the rear and then you just have to worry about the front, we just did this to an explorer my friend has and we used this thats all you need for the rear. and as far as the front and ranger/broncoII lift will work.

can i keep the stock tires on it with that much lift or would it look to funny??

yes your stock tires will look funny. SOA will clear 35's.atleast mine did.

if you want to keep the stock size tires I would go after a levling kit.lifts the front about 2inches

4inch kit will fit 31's with room.
