How many o2 sensors?

I took my truck in to get my starting problem looked at and while it was there i told him to just go ahead and replace the o2 sensors. I get it back and he says there is only one and he replaced it. I need to know how many there and where they are located so i can actually get them replaced. Any diagrams or pics of them would be great.

I have three on my 96. There sound be one on each side before the pipes from the manifolds join together. The drivers side one is about mid pipe and the passenger side one is alot closer to the cat if I remember correctly. And then I have one after the cat as well

My 93 4.0 has 2 about a foot down each pipe on the 2 banks of the engine.

Should just be one before the catalytic converter

Anything with a wire attached to the exhaust system (pipe) would be a good bet to find the sensors.

90-92 there is 1 before for the catalytic converter.

93-94 there are 2 off each manifold. Like about 10-12" down the y-pipe.

95-up' There are 2 like mentioned before and 1 after the catalytic converter.

SO, on your 93', there should be 2.

Thats exactly what i thought. Just wanted to double check on it. I dont really get why the passenger side one got changed and not the driver. Especially since the driver side seems so much easier to reach
