wow i didnt realize you had that many mile in i guess being from the "30s" its understandable lol

original 94 2.3L just about to hit 180,000 only issue to date was replacing timing belt, besides normal oil changes & new plugs & wires back in 2007. Runs just as well as when I bought it in 2007 with 92,000 on it

My truck has around 125k. engine has around 2000 miles. transmission mileage is unknown, but does it's job. Have a couple spares so whatever if one fails, just takes time - which can cost more than money depending on how you look at it.

Edit - 144k with a 2.9L? I am surprised. My original '88 2.9L lasted 98K. :D

my 91' is on 121,621 as of the last run to the compost pile to drop off some grass... and she runs like a top and never missed a beat in the year ive owned her ( as of today! woo its our 1 year aniversary (?))

My Explorer and I are coming up on our 1 year as well (July 13th) and she had just rolled 147k. Come hell or high water I will see that odometer roll 00000 again. That's right I only have 5 digits, wanna fight about it?

Shenanigans. lol
This comment--Went over my head--explain, so I can laff !

186,367mi original 4.0 never rebuilt and A4LD never rebuilt. Still makin' (nearly) all 155hp.

The miles don't seem right. In fact, the odo even looks off.

Only 115,000 miles on my 85 and shes fallin apart faster than I can fix her

Duct tape cures all!

I've got just a tad over 180,000 on my '94. I bought her in '07 with just 128,000 on the clock, so I've put 52,000 wonderful and 99.999% trouble free miles on her.

Mine hit 120,000 miles last week. It had 107,000 when I bought it in October of '09. So I've put 13,000 on it in 19 months.
