How many miles on your 4.0?

I have a 1998 ext cab 4x4, had 13000 miles when I bought it, now it has 381000, same motor and 5 speed tranny.

just rolled 200k.

still on the second clutch (about time for a new one, the syncros are going)

and just installed a used radatior this weeked... outside of that... I change the oil alot

it had an issue of not wanting to start on occation an once i stalled at a light...

I installed new relays for the ECU and fuel pump and it hasnt happened since...

just hit 107,000 on my 93!!!..stock motor and tranny..lol..its lived a boring life,till i bought it

but my explorer has 276,000 on its 5.0

1994 4.0L with 318,XXX miles, factory motor with cracked head. Just gotta keep up on the coolant level haha plus a rebuilt trans

1998 XLT 2wd auto extended cab with 195K .

2006 FX4 (six yrs old) with less than 30K .

just turned 120k on the truck and tranny
i think around 65k on the second 4.0 thats been in it (had 40k when i got the engine)
minor hiccups here and there but nothing really worth nothing

I have 208,000 on my 2000. Cracked heads and an engine rebuild at 180,000.

I bought my 97 ranger a couple months ago for 450$.I have done a complete brake job,welded the exhaust,new starter,new alternator, new battery,oil change and new air filter.It easily passed certification and it just passed an e-test yesterday with 308,448 km. It ticks first thing in the morning but it runs like a top...

'95 XLT SuperCab 4x4, 5 speed. Bought it used in '98 with about 60k, it now shows 160k, but I'm betting its closer to 180k. There was a period in there where the speedo quit working and I didn't worry about fixing it for about 2 years. Knock on wood, no engine problems at all thus far. I've run Castrol Syntec in it since I bought it.
