how low in the rear until a c notch is required?


it may be valid but it's my thread. you're new here you probably havent run into issues with thread jacking yet haha. and as far as a $75 jy rear end goes alot of times you must recondition the rear end, unless you get lucky. trust me a 7.5 will hold up to the 2.3's power all day with no issues. disk brakes would be nice but for a dd they're not needed, same with a trak lock diff.
 
I’m lowered on a flip kit with blocks too. I’m about 5.5 inches lower now in the back and 5 in the front. I don’t have a notch and only bottom out over big bumps.
