Who knows.. Some have gone to 500K from what I've heard. IMO, run it till it dies, or just right before..

+1 what he said...I have always found it useful to have a backup car no matter how "reliable" your daily driver is..

Yeah! People that have to have a brand new vehicle are sick individuals, more money than brains! If they pass a communistic law stating that a rusted vehicle be removed from the road, I'll have to move to a different county!
There is a point though, I've seen cars driving down the road that are rusted to the point that they are unsafe.

haha Im sry but i have a lowerd 01 sliverado (used to race mustangs an smoke them) an a 99 Dodge 3500 cummins ( also used to race ricers, work truck, an burrie it in mud when ranger down) I just breake newer shit faster than the old junks. My cummins has a exploed tranny, an my silverado is on engine #2 tranny #3 an rear #2. haha an only at 63,000 miles hahahahaha. NOS an my lead food shifting at revlimmiter dont mix but fun haha

This is called hydro locking an engine & it usually weakens the connecting rods, I would give it less then a month before a connecting rod lets loss.

Must be nice to have money!!! Most of us learn about beating on our equipment. Greg
