Hi, after replacing the driveshaft to a one piece, I am looking to replace/ upgrade the trans crossmember. It looks like it took a pretty good whack and dent years ago. Price for a used one is similar to a new one made by Ricks. Is it a decent product? Thanks!

I bought one for my 84. I am doing V8 with T5 swap. I am trying to also use stock foxbody mustang dual exhaust and it wouldn't work with Ricks crossmember when I mocked up my exhaust. I ended up using a street rod universal crossmember, but it required a lot of fab work. If you are just wanting to change crossmembers on a stock Ranger then the Ricks crossmember should work fine. Its a thick piece of steel and is nicely made. I am willing to sell my Ricks crossmember.

84Tony, thank you for the information, very helpful. I think the cost of shipping would be a lot, but thanks for the suggestion sir. Frank

Everyone I've seen use them had no complaints.
