How is replacing the coil pack?

Effective in improving ignition/performance? Especially on a 97 I dont know how worn these can get.

Assuming it's not broken, it won't improve a thing.

I was rading an article that said a defective coil will affect things like make headlights dim and intermittent performance loss. My ranger will experience these symptoms a lot. I ordered an accel aftermarket coil pack, I'm hoping it will run better acceleration with it.

They're very easy to test. Next time take a few minutes to troubleshoot a problem before throwing parts at it. It will save you a lot of money and heartache in the future.

With better spark duration & all it be what the older motoer needs. I got a good deal, I'll get back when it's installed
