How hot is it??

Dat's hot! A water main buckled the highway about 2 feet high just north of New Orleans right before daylight years ago causing th car in front of me to go airborne in a 45mph speed zone....I managed to stop a few feet from the buckle...the guy was kinda O.K./no broken bones.... but in a daze.

Man...that's gonna leave a mark...lol

It's so hot that my sack is stuck to my knee!
We've been having all kinds of pavement buckeling up here lately but that one takes the cake. Every two years we might hit 90 deg but not 4-5 in a row gets rough.

Hell it has been 90-100+ here in IN for the last month. It has sucked so much that I bought a sponge for my swamp ass that looks like Sponge Bob so he can kiss my ass.

100+ regularly I'm south Texas for the better part if the year lol and humid too

The road buckled here and I hit it on my motorcycle. It wasn't too bad, I definitely got air but only inches and probably not even both wheels off the ground at the same time. It was more like hitting a big speed bump at 55mph. Nothing like the SUV hitting that buckle, but still not fun.

They fixed it but if I think about it I will try to get picture of it.

So what was the ambient temp there? It is 98*F here with 40% humidity , it was 105*f here the other day :shok:

The hamburgers didn't make it to the grill, they cooked during carry out from the back door to the grill.

It's hot enough that I'm almost sick of it. I'm an outside person and getting sick of being inside all day. Can't work on the truck our do anything without bruning up.

I work at the top of a 300ft steel tube. When it is 93F outside, it is 130 inside. I've worked 10 hours in that. Lots of water, and most is sweated out.
