I got an m5od that doesn't have the manual shift tcase bolts. Is it hard to swap the extension housing, like just unbolt it and bolt the new one on? Only reason is because I got a manual shift 1354 but no way to bolt it on

So your current transmission is 2 wheel drive and you are hoping to bolt the adapter housing for the transfer case on to it? Not gonna happen.

Now if you current transmission is 4x4 and you are replacing the 1350 with the 1354 you don't need to do anything just bolt it up.

No its 4x4 I have a bw1354e I bought a bw1354m and the extension housing doesn't have the bolt holes on the side for the linkage to bolt to.

But it should workout just fine? Just unbolt the old extension and bolt the new one in?

Cool and mine is an r1 (for the 4.0 ohv) so I shouldn't have to worry about modding it or anything. The 3.0 and 4.0 m5od has the same ext. Housing right?
