89 broncoII/ 89 ranger 4x4 converting to manual trans. pedal assembly is coming out of a 89 broncoII

i've been fighting the thing all night. how do you take the clutch pedal assembly out of the damn truck? i can't move it over far enough to get it all the way out or the brake pedal off. its practically against the kicker panel already not to mention the huge wiring harness? help asap please. its getting cold up here lol

Been there with my 89 Ranger not long ago. You have to take the plastic driver's side panel out (one screw and velcro holds it in). Also loosen the emergency brake support so it can be pried out of the way. Then be prepared to stand on your head for an hour while cussing and skinning your knuckles (this step is mandatory). It will come out (barely) without totally disconnecting any cables or other heroic steps. Just loosen and ty away what's in your road and it will work out.Good luck.

Yea its a pain to get out and in.. I had to remove the parking brake pedal assembly and that gave me enough room to get it out.
