How do I remove the (what im told is the factory amp) that's located right behind the driver seat in a single cab? I removed the cover on it but how do I go about actually removing it?

i have no clue because we have different years. you sure it's not speakers?

i had 2 speakers behind my seats in my 88 xlt... they were a pain in the butt, but i knew i wasn't saving them so i smashed the boxes apart to get to the bolts.

No, It's a bunch of wires haha, there's a little heat sink on it and everything, I got the cover off but the rest is pretty much on there and I don't wanna mess with wires when Idk what they do haha, I'll go take a picture here soon.

This is it, It used to have a tan plastic cover over top of it.

Oh great :(, Well, Guess that's out of the question haha, Thanks alot, I appreciate it, Learned something new today too haha. :D

Ok, Question for the sake of knowing the answer, Would it be unwise to say, unbolt the computer and maybe turn it sideways to give me a few extra inches of space in the back?
