how do you adjust the hinges on a Ranger?

'87 ranger, and when I latch the door on the passenger side, the door is still loose(rattles) I know it's latched.

Do I loosen the three screws on the door, or the strike bolt?

check your door pins to see if they are wore out, given the year it might be a possibility

I agree about the hinge pins. The bushings are probably wore out. If you replace them make sure you get good quality parts.(not generic)

might not be the hinge pins, but the striker, or maybe the latch itself. Ford isn't all that bad when it comes to the hinges, its chevy you have to worry about. This has nothing to do with adjusting the door.
