after replacing EVERY SENSOR UNDER THE HOOD, the eec, the ICM, the timing belt on my truck as well as checking for compression, changing the exhaust and looking for vacuum leaks... checking fuel system, replacing filters... basically im not driving the same truck anymore... anyway i got off track... my truck is sputtering/ dying/ backfiring when it warms up and the only thing i haven't replaced/checked yet is the CPS (note: there isnt a cam sensor on this year). i would like to know if the $160 dollar part im about to replace is actually bad before i rip the front of my motor off to replace it. so anyone with the technical knowledge to test this part please help.
