How do I get this thing to apass emissions?

Im curious cause you never stated if it had an engine/emission light on on the dash? It could be a coolant sensor or something dumb like that, id verify that the lights arnt unhooked/burnt out, and if they are pull the codes. If the lights work but are off, its pry a cat.

No lights are on, on the dash.

We are still trying to get the O2 sensor to break loose so we can replace that.
We ran seafoam spray through it and it did not seem to make much difference.

We have not took it back for another test because they want to charge us again. Not going to drop another $35 on a emissions test until we have the O2 senser changed at least.

Does anyone have any tricks to getting the O2 sensor out?

Heat....oxy-acetylene. Propane and/or mapp probably won't get hot enough. You want the bung glowing dark orange. You could probably get an exhaust shop to do it cheap.

This is getting any better news. Today we are at the parts store and can not get it to go into to nuetral or reverse. we came home to research it a bit. I have looked things over and the linkage and everything appears to be doing what it is suppose to but it wont shift in reverse or nuetral so we can even roll it out of the stall. I will post a seperate thread
