I have a 92 ranger 4.0L It has been acting up lately and now it is very hard to start and when it does start it runs very rough and stalls. If I press the fuel peddle it usually stalls. It has new crank sensor, coil pack, plugs, wires, TPS, and I tried three used MAF sensors. It makes no diff. when I unplug the MAF . I was wondering if the wiring to the MAF was bad. Can someone tell me what to test and the values for the test.

Thanks,

I tested the input and output votages of the MAF sensor and the values are good. 14V between A&B and 1.85V between c&d. would you have any idea what could be wrong with the truck. As I said I put a new fuel pump, fuel filter, MAF, TPS, coil pack, plugs and wires, and crank sensor on. It still starts hard and runs rough. It will run good once in a while when the engine light goes out. I do not have a scan tool and the diagnostic connecter is missing. It is a 92 4.0L

Thanks

Robert

It has been cut off.not sure why I bought the truck 7 years ago and done off frame restoration. didn't notice the connector gone until I looked for it
