My grandmother bought a 2003 3.0 auto 2wd on the 7th & the dealer sold it for $9,995 with 56,xxx miles. it is basic with powerwindows & locks no jump seats in the back, & appears to have been wrecked. The driverside fender looks to be replaced it has bolts that are different from the passanger side. She found a nice 07 3.0 auto no power windows or locks 66,xxx miles for $9,995 but they will go $8,995. The dealer doesn't want to take the truck back is there anything she can do? She told them she was not happy with it & simply doesn't want it. She has called the bank to stop payment on the $3000 check she gave them as downpayment. any suggestions appreciated,oh we are in texas if it matters.

Unless they knew it had been in a wreck, and did not tell you, then I don't think there is much you can do. She already bought the truck, it's her's.

I think the first scenario would be the only time you could make them take it back, as far as I know. And even if that does work, I', 95% sure it would turn into a court case or something. They are not going to want the truck back, and if you try and make them take it back, I think it will go to court. That is just my theory though.

I think you're "SOL". Whenever I purchase a vehicle, I make sure to look over it completely before purchasing or even discussing purchasing the item.

buyers remorse.........only thing I can think of to tell you is to look in to see if your state has a "cooling off period"

by federal law you have 72 hours or 3 business days to return anything purchased on credit...... it usually never makes it into the fine print in the contract.

I'm going to have to agre with BDAB. I've heard of this before and ended up returning a Rainbow vacuum in that time. I only finally caved in to get the guy (a friends brother) out of my house so I could go to bed because I had to work the next day. Two days later I took it back. The manager didn't look to happy, but I didn't want a $1,200 vacuum at the time.
