what tranny, gears, tire size are you running? any known mechanical problems with your engine? has it always had bad gas mileage or is this a recent occurrence?
we just need more info to try to help you.

idk wat gears but its all stock tires size and gear size in the rear end the truck has 46000 miles and its an 84 i put new plugs and accel ignition coil in it i got new wires just havent put them on yet it was cold as hell out 5 spd manual tranny

gear ratio is on the door sticker and also on a tag on the axle pumpkin. you can check the code in the tech library here to see what gears you have. you can read off the sidewall for the tire size.
it may very well be timing, carb, or other engine problem. or if you have your foot deep in the accelerator because of poor gearing, etc. that would help explain it.
