Did all Rangers come with the weenie single tone horn?

My 99 XLT, which seems to have almost every option available at the time, had the single tone horn. I just upgraded to dual tone horns (changes the feel of the truck in a weird way).

Anyway, was riding in a 95-97 standard cab/bed 4cyl Ranger yesterday with very few options (prob just automatic and AC) and he had a dual tone horns. It was an XLT as well. Doesn't seem like the type of guy that would take the time to swap in dual tone horns either. Thoughts?

Seems like they've gone back & forth...

My '90 BII XLT has dual horns (though I probably shouldn't swear one couldn't have been swapped in, I bought it used, however it was nearly completely bone-stock when I got it).

My '94 Ranger XLT has a single horn (bought it new back in '94 that way). I want to put a high-note horn on it, but have never gotten around to doing it.
