im in the middle of pulling my 2.3 for a rebuild and i need to pull the a/c compressor, how can i tell if its charged or not? i have no way to start it right now either

i pushed down on the shrader valves both hi and lo side and nothing came out, does that mean there is no charge left?

Pretty much. You might get a little bit if you just crack a line, but not much.

Be sure to store the compressor in the same "position" it is currently mounted at. It has oil inside and the less that gets spilled? The better.

Thanks guys, I double checked the valves once more and then removed the manifold hose from the compressor, all was well, as for storing the compressor, not so sure im putting A/C back in when i put it back together. i never use it anyway
