Well......Not a very good introduction to this forum. I just spent the last HOUR typing up my hello and writing about my Ranger, then went to insert some pics, and CRAP!!!!...ALL of what I wrote was gone! Disappeared-Vanished! WTH, WTF! It wasn't like I left my computer for a period of time and when I came back it re-set itself. I haven't left this whole time! I have never had that happen on any other forums. How Bizarre.

So....I just bought a 98 Ranger XLT Extended Cab 3.0V-6 auto, all power, 180,000, newly rebuilt top-end, incl. water pump. Once I got serious about getting a truck, the Ranger was the truck I wanted. In my opinion, Ford Rangers are just superior to all others in this class. I wanted an extended cab, as new and in as good of condition and as dependable as I could find for $3000. I really wanted all power (locks/windows/cruise) and V-6. Really wanted a manual shift, but when I found this truck, I had to accept the automatic. I bought this as a daily driver and a parts/equipment mover so I can put my project car up on jacks and rebuild the engine & tranny. There are a couple of pics at bottom, including my current project.
I am looking for a copy of the 98 Ranger service manual. if anyone has an electronic version they would like to share I would appreciate it. They have one on my project car's forum (95 Acura Legend LS) that is a PDF file on a sticky. It has been a real help. Thanks in advance for any help!

I really like the opening doors to access the rear cargo/seating area!

And here is my project that is getting ready for a power plant transplant!
