Hood Liner?

Mice got into my hood liner over the winter. Not too bad from the face side but pretty chewed up in the hood side.

Looked around the web a little but was wondering what someone else might have done but leave it off?

Purchased a sticky back foam/foil liner off eBay. Removed the hood and with the pattern of the old one it fit perfectly and looks great.

Looks like it's no longer available. I'd search eBay for similar as it's just a thin foam core with embossed foil layer and sticky on back.

You'd need the old liner to locate the plastic button holes and cut the pattern. I wouldn't trust just the adhesive by itself.

Seller may get some more.

Hood liner on mine is all torn up. Is it for noise dampening primarily or temperature control?

I'd say both. Without it on some vehicles I've seen crappy paint burn in the hotspots.
