Hood Issues

Graivty combined with a tree branch dented my hood. Called every junkyard around and no one has the powerdome Edge hood like I want. Don't want another stock looking hood. What are some other hoods to consider? The powerdome is nice, any others that are reasonably priced? Not looking for a huge scoop, just something different.

Also, what's the going rate to get one painted? Could i rattle can and wet sand it to oe quality in my drive way?

stay away from spray cans, not even near the real paint quality, so u are gonna mess the truck, and taking it to a shop would be the best option, and removing the spray its gonna be a pita for them too..
have u tried e bay for the hood??
i can get new overseas made hoods here in honduras thats one of the few good things around here

have it painted professionally or else your hood will be fading quickly and not holding up as well with a spray can paint.

Rattle can paint would look like shit. Just not near the same quality would look half assed.

Any ideas where to get a hood? Can't find the power dome, or any other, for a reasonable price. Guess Ill have to start calling dealers and see who can give me the best price...

i'd be kinda concerned with that i guess. over long term

Yes that's a 01-03 'powerdome' hood that came on XLT 4x4's and EDGE trucks.


I've got a blue powerdome avaliable in PERFECT condition. It's sitting in my shop. If anyones interested, PM me. I'm located in Oregon.
